Random photos of things around cgb surfboards:

Bob and Trevor discuss Trevor's new 5 fin fish upper left, Then Trevor cuts it out with the hand saw.
Lower left: Trevor practices with the Skil 100 planer before shaping the fish (standing in background)
Finally Trevor applies the final sanding to the fish, (the concaves are really evident)

Skill 100 planer collection...still growing !!!

From the Shaping Room...the Reason We all Live Here

BOMBORA Vodka from Australia had us make a promtional 7'6" gun...wish we had the waves it is made for !!!

QuickSilver and Billabong both have one so we got one too! Our 60' Surf Expedition yacht was designed by
John G. Alden and was built by the Palmer Johnson yard in the U.S. See you out there! Catch us if you can...

Our Dog "Surfer Dude" checking the point at sunset. Surfer Dude is sitting
right outside the glassing room. I doubt anyone has a better view of any
better wave than Surfer Dude.

One of 3 Carbon Fiber boards we've built so far with custom, hand painted logo

YOU'VE RIDDEN THE POINT...NOW GO HOME !!!

So this guy, Dave Folly or Folly Dave, a 57 year old 1980's designer shows up dressed and geared with Kane Garden surf hat, Kane Garden
surf shirt, Kane Garden surfboard, Kane Garden leash and Kane Garden stomp pad (whatever that is)
but fails to gain admittance with his synthetic company stuff. Only Cane Garden Bay Surfboards are built
in Cane Garden Bay for Cane Garden Bay surfers...not outsider wannabees.
You can see that this was not exactly an epic day, but who knows what he's used to back in Folley Beach? The photo on the left is from the winter of '04/05

The Photo on the right is from today as are the ones below...the constant look to see if any ripple may be coming...NOT !!

September 28, 2005...we've had 3 days of epic surf with only a few friends from around the islands, then today
Folley shows up again...typically late and again out by himself on a less than great day...too bad it costs him
so much money to play in our back yard. I can only imagine what his home break must be like if he's so willing
to waste so much coming here when it is like this...have a nice surf Folley. I just heard about a comedy surf DVD...
Folley could be the star in it...

Those who know, go...those that don't, won't...

The Rest Ride Immitations...

Ever wonder when would be a good time to visit Cane Garden Bay? Just keep you eyes on the NOAA
satellite and you never know what you'll see heading our way!!! That's one huge left out in the Atlantic!

JC and some guy cutting into one of the last Clark Blanks

Someone's new fish, the side lighting effect really makes the blanks look good...
Wish they'd do the same for the builder...

The glassing room, Scott's on the rack, and from top to bottom on the wall: Tom Ezel, Stepehan from St. John and a mystery board that must have slipped in! Just out the door the point 110' below !!

Update August 2005: Finished painting and new overhead lights installed...we're up to number 260 at present...UPDATE JULY '07...# 500 HAS LEFT THE SHOP...

Where it all begins. Probably the nicest shaping room I've had in the last 40 years. Right at home over looking Cane Garden Bay, Bose surround sound CD, great ventilation and a cold beer near by... if only we had better neighbors, more tolerant of the noise and would quit complaining to Government

Update August 2005: New overhead lights installed!

JC and some un-known intruder check out #1...it must be #1 since the room is way too clean...not any longer, it's full of foam dust !! Notice the liquid courage just under JC's nose!

5'7" Hawaiian Gun for David Enloe, I remember when a gun was at least 10'!!

Anyone remember the Skill 100 planer? Some of us old guys still have them. UPDATE JULY '07...WE NOW HAVE 7 OF THEM...
